Modest Mouse — Strangers to Ourselves
Swiss Ritual is one of my favorite ongoing design projects—Devin Sager reimagines album covers through the lens of Swiss minimalism. This take on Modest Mouse's 2015 album strips away everything except those concentric rounded-corner lines creating this organic pill shape. The burgundy and white contrast is chef's kiss. It's like the album cover went to design school in Basel and came back all refined and introspective.
